Let’s begin!

#1: ACORN ART

This Acorn Art is a super easy and fun craft for toddlers and preschoolers. Perfect for this Fall season as acorns are everywhere!

Materials FOR acorn art:

Acorns
Bin with rims (storage bin works great)
Washable kids paint
White cardstock

Instructions:

Place a piece of white cardstock inside the bottom of a bin.
Add small dollops of desired washable kids paint.
Add that acorns and shake, shake, shake (kids love this part)!

#2: autumn play-dough tray: invitation to create

Autumn Play-dough Tray: Invitation to Create is a simple and easy way to spark your childs’ creativity. I’ve put together this simple tray full of nature finds we’ve found and gathered together with the kids on our daily outdoor walk. It was fun to see them run around, find something they felt was beautiful and worth to add to our tray and bring it over to show me. I loved that they were discovering the little things outdoors and noticing colors, shapes, objects, even patterns on the leaves and so much more!

Materials:

Tray with sections
Play-dough (I’ve linked our favorite brand!)
Nature finds (acorns, sticks, pine needles, pine cones, leaves, etc.)

Instructions:

Lay out everything onto the tray so the child can visually see all of the elements he’s/she’s able to create with. That’s it!

#3: PAINTING ACORNS ACTIVITY

This Painting Acorns activity is a super quick and easy activity anyone can do this Fall! It’s creative and simple at the same time. Acorns are abundantly laying underneath each Oak tree this time of year, so go on an exciting hunt with your kids to collect some!
