Winter Landscape Craft

Looking for a fun winter craft that isn’t complicated? This Winter Landscape Craft is easy, doesn’t require fancy materials and looks pretty when finished!

This craft is perfect for using up odd pieces of random scrapbook paper you may have at home, for the trees or you can even use newspaper! We used some old pieces of scrapbook paper with evergreens and some red holly on them and used just the spaces with only green for the forest with no Christmas feel to it. By all means, you can even use green colored construction paper for the trees! It will still look great!

At the very end we added some snowflakes by dipping a q-tip into white washable kids paint, but that is totally optional!

  • Next, cut out a slightly smaller hill #2 and glue to the front of the trees, overlapping and layering on top slight.

  • Glue about 5 of the evergreens on the hill.

  • Next, cut out hill #3. Should be the smallest hill. Glue to the front of the trees.

Layering and overlapping the three hills creates depth to the landscape and makes the picture beautiful!

  • This step is totally optional, but you can add a little bit of falling snow by dipping a q-tip into white paint and stamping all over the sky. Let dry.
