Paper Angel Ornaments
Create these easy Paper Angel Ornaments for your next craft! This craft doesn’t require any fancy materials and kids will love making their little angels to hang up on the tree!
For this craft we are using watercolor paper, but that is totally optional! Regular printer paper will work just fine, especially if you don’t want to paint your paper angels, which is optional too! Using watercolor paints creates just enough subtle color to the angels, nothing overboard or extreme. But again, that’s optional! We left a few white angels for our tree with a few painted ones as well.

supplies needed for Paper angel ornaments:
- Watercolor paper (5.5″ x 8.5″) or printer paper
- String
- Watercolor paints + paintbrush
- Wooden beads
- Scissors
- Hot glue gun
Instructions:
*Hot glue gun should be handled by an adult only*
- Start by creating a paper fan folding the paper long side. Make the folds in about 1 cm increments.

- Once the paper fan is done, fold the fan in half and cut into two pieces. Then fold each piece 1/3 down.

Now you should have two paper fan halves for the angel. Don’t glue them just yet. Let’s work on the string with the bead.
- Take your string, fold in half, add your bead and secure the bead in place by making a knot above the bead and below the bead, allowing about a 2-3 inch loop above the bead to easily hang the ornament.

- Lastly, glue together the ornament by placing the end of the string between the two halves of the angel and centering the bead for the head.

Now this part is totally option as the angels look great white, but you can use a little bit of watercolors paints (if you used watercolor paper) to add a subtle hint of color!
