#1: Glittery Seashells Craft
This Glittery Seashells Craft is the perfect summer craft! They’re easy to make, colorful, glittery and kids will love the process!
Materials:
- Seashells
- Glue
- Paintbrush
- Glitter (we used two kinds/colors)
- Tray with rim
- Spoon to scoop
Instructions:
Start by placing the glitter into the tray. You can “layer” the glitter by alternating the colors, you can mix the glitter together to create a new color or you can even “draw” something with glitter. You’ll be stamping the seashells into the glitter, so get creative! Next, paint the seashells with the paintbrush and glue, making sure to get every corner nice and evenly. Now, stamp the seashell into the prepared glitter, using the spoon to help scoop the glitter onto the empty spots and let dry completely.
#2: Jelly Fish Craft
This Jelly Fish ain’t just a simple jellyfish craft. This is paper-plate-meets-tissue-paper jellyfish craft. It’s fun, unique and simple enough for toddlers to make.
Materials:
- Paper plates
- Tissue paper (assorted, leftovers)
- Glue stick
- Craft scissors (I’ve linked craft scissors for adults since I’ve done all of the cutting)
- Washable kids paint
- Pom-pom
- Clothespin
Instructions:
Clip the pom-pom into the clothespin and prepare the washable kid paint by placing small amounts of paint onto a paper plate. Next, cut a paper plate in half for the jellyfish. Paint the jellyfish by stamping the paint with the pom-pom, let dry. Then using the tissue paper cut it into wavy strips and glue to the back of the jellyfish.

materials for handprint father’s day card:
- White cardstock
- Permanent marker

Instructions:
- Bend the white cardstock in half to make a card.
- Using a paintbrush (not foam paintbrush), use green watercolors to draw seaweed (make sure the card opens up, not sideways).

- Stamp onto the card, let dry.
- Once the handprint fish is dry, glue on the googly eye and add a smile using the permanent marker.
- Lastly, draw a hook and use a pom-pom to stamp on a bobber. Likewise, you can simply glue on the pom-pom to make a 3D bobber!

materials:
- Cardboard
- Pencil or pen
- Glitter (assorted)
- Liquid school glue
- Paper plate
- Q-tip
- Craft scissors or craft knife/mat
Instructions:
- Start by cutting out a square out of the cardboard, approximately 5″ x 5″.
- Next, using the pen/pencil draw a simple outline of a mermaid tail on the cardboard piece. Don’t worry about it being perfect!
- Prepare the glue, by placing a little bit of the liquid school glue onto a prepare plate.

#5: Pipecleaner fishing Activity
This Pipecleaner Fishing Activity is so quick to set-up and kids will have a blast fishing for colors, googly-eyed fish!
MATERIALS:
Instructions:
- Cut the pipecleaner into two pieces (for smaller fish).
- Take one of the pipecleaner pieces and bend, twisting the ends together to make a fish.
- Glue on the googly eyes (you can leave out this step if you want)
Lay out the fish and prepare the fishing poles. My son wanted to do it on the table rather than the floor, so he sat at the dining chair to fish- haha.
#6: Handprint Turtle Craft
Kids are going to love this Handprint Turtle Craft!
materials:
- Green card stock
- Craft scissors
- Small green pom-poms (about .5 of an inch size)
- Liquid school glue
- Pen
- Googly eyes
Optional:
- Paper plate
- Q-tip
Instructions:
- Trace your child’s hand on the green card stock using a pen or pencil. When tracing the thumb, make it a little bit bigger, this will be the head.
- Next, cut out the handprint. Older kids can probably do this step on their own.
- Prepare the glue by placing a little bit of liquid school glue onto the paper plate and place the q-tip onto the plate. This step lets younger kids apply the glue more easily, but you can skip this step all together if your kids are able to squeeze the glue bottles with no problem.
- Next, glue the pom-poms onto the palm of the handprint. Let set.
- Lastly, add the googly eye, draw a smile with the pen and a few details on each foot.
