Materials:
- White cardstock
- Liquid school glue
- Salt
- Twigs
- Watercolors + paintbrush
- Tray or large plate
Optional:
- Paper plate
- Q-tip
Directions:
- Glue the twigs onto the white cardstock using the liquid school glue. For younger kids, I like to place a little bit of the glue onto a paper plate so they can apply the glue with a q-tip.
- Once you have all of the twigs glued, apply a little big of glue onto each twig and in between.
- Working over a large plate or tray, sprinkle with salt all over the tray. Shake off excess.
- Now, using the blues from the watercolors, paint around the tree to create a frosty, winter feel.
