Simple crafts are sometimes the best! And this Tissue Paper Heart Craft is simple to prep and perfect at strengthening those little fingers!
We love crafts here at Toddler at Play and one thing that I try to stick to when crafting is to not overcomplicate the craft. After all, I’m working with little kids who aren’t as technical and “beautiful” in everything they do. Of course, I think every craft, messy or perfect, deserves praise and a reason to be hung up for every one to see. But if you’re like me and you like simple, easy-to-prep crafts, try this Tissue Paper Craft Idea. Kids will love the simple steps and the finished product is cute and makes a perfect Valentine’s Day decoration for the house!

Instructions:
- Cut out a heart out of the cardboard. Any size you would like!
- Cut the pink tissue paper into 1″ squares and place into a bowl.
- Place a little bit of liquid school glue onto a paper plate. This step is optional, but makes it easier for little ones to apply the glue.
- Let the child crinkle each piece of tissue paper squares and glue to the heart. Make sure to cover all of the cardboard up, so you can’t see it.
