The basic Craft and Activity Supplies you need to own list is something you should have on hand every day for easy, low prep crafts and activities!
I wanted to share with you all of the supplies I keep on hand in our craft and activity storage bins, so you can get a sense of what you might want to have as well! It’s a great idea to buy a little bit of this and that and have a variety of supplies to work with. That way you can throw together an activity in no time, rather than having to rush to the store to get supplies just to keep your toddler busy long enough for you to cook a meal. If your kids love crafts, I have a simple craft supply list too!
Along with a list of materials and supplies, I’m sharing some of our favorite activities you can do with those supplies as well!
By all means, you don’t have to have everything on the list below, but getting a few items that you think your kids will enjoy the most is a great idea. For storage, I’m sharing with you all of the organization I have in my kids room. They love their little crafting nook and spend hours there each day. It works great at giving them the freedom to get creative and stay independent for quite some time.
Organization is key!
In the wooden storage bins I keep various stickers, small pieces of scrap paper, stamps and glitter glue. In the desk organizer I keep glue sticks, kid-safe scissors, colored pencils, pencils, stencils, cardstock paper, a drawing pad and a few activity books.

I’ve tried to link exact items, however, some items are out of stock so I’ve linked similar. All activities should be supervised by an adult.
