Need to say more?
Actually, I came up with it on a whim and I’m so glad I did! Both of my kids had a blast matching up the dot stickers that would create little ornaments on the Christmas Tree. It was so much to see their trials and errors, using their brains for sure.
It’s great for both toddlers and preschoolers, for siblings to learn to work together, for independent quiet time and of course to bust the boredom!

Instructions:
With the permanent marker draw a large Christmas Tree on your cardstock. Next, with your craft scissors, cut the dot stickers in half using different types of patterns. Peel one half of each dot sticker and stick onto the Christmas tree, while leaving the other half unpeeled. It’s also helpful to cut each unpeeled dot sticker into its own square.
What is my child learning?
-Cognitive skills (mama’s, this activity is AWESOME AT IMPROVING COGNITIVE SKILLS, such as thinking, evaluating, comparing, predicting!)
-Builds new connections in the brain
-Hand-eye coordination (matching up the two pieces of dot stickers takes a lot of skill!)
-Fine motor skills (peeling the stickers and holding them with thumb and pointer finger)
TIP- You can even learn colors with this activity if you’re using assorted colors for the dot stickers!
