This Gift Wrapping Station is AWESOME!
There’s nothing like an easy activity you can set up in just a few minutes and one that will keep those little ones busy, busy, busy (FOR A LOOONG TIME!)
I prepped all of the materials using my awesome serving tray with sections and gave it to my kids. And they literally kept wrapping, unwrapping and wrapping again and again their little toys they chose all morning…9-11. Not kidding! And that’s why I MUST SHARE this awesome “busy activity” with you all. It’s super simple, you probably have most of the materials at home and your kids will absolutely love it!

Materials for gift wrapping station:
-All sorts of gift wrapping paper (I’ll linked some inexpensive ones here, but nothings beats a dollar store)
-Tissue paper (holiday themed, assorted colors)
-Ribbons (holiday themed, assorted colors)
–Bows
-Favorite toys (we used our alphabet blocks, Djeco animals, Hot Wheels cars)
Instructions:
Set up the tray by placing all of the materials into tray sections. Having each material in its own section allows the child to see the available things he/she can use.
What is my child learning?
-Fine + small motor skills (wrapping, grabbing, picking up all the pieces)
-Creativity (children can improve and expand their creativity by allowing them to chose their own designs, styles, colors, ribbons and bows)
-Focus (improve this important skill with this quiet activity)
-Independency (setting up the station and allowing children the freedom to create whatever they’d like exercises independency)
